What’s Guenther’s legacy?

The football and men’s basketball programs have been frustrating to follow over the last 19 years. They show signs of improvement and glimmers of excellence, only to slip back into maddening mediocrity. What would they think?

It was in the midst of this pain that they stood. Out of the ashes of war, out of the shadow of abuse and alcohol, out of the despair of disease, the mothers stood. They were angry with the state of the world, and wanted a day to recognize the power of mercy and love. They wanted a day to recognize the power of women – mothers – to make a change in the world. What would those mothers think of the day that they helped create?

The Princess Paradox
